Happy Birthday NHS.

Sixty years ago today Aneurin Bevan launched the NHS.

It's not perfect. It can't fund everything and sadly some areas like dentistry are withered but its better than what come before it and the alternatives proposed.

  1. Thanks from my small part of the NHS.
The best birthday present the NHS could have would for politicians to take a break from kicking it about.

  2. I wonder if - like the Treasury - the NHS should be left alone to sort itself out. The red tape can't be helping can it?

  3. No it can't. I believe that it may be the best way to reform the NHS rather than handing parts over to the private sector and firms like United health.
