Conversion Therapy
So the consultation on banning conversion therapy in England has been extended allowing for it to be potentially be kicked into the long grass more time for responses so if you haven't already and can, make the time to fill it in.
Yes, I did wonder what the motive for the last-minute lengthy extension to the consultation period is. Or maybe conversion therapists have asked for more time to request exemptions for themselves. I am not alone in pointing out that the proposals as they stand would reduce the ability of trans charities from helping the young or vulnerable for fear of being accused of being converters. Sue x
